Shuranda Hall - Founder & CEO
Born in Nassau, Bahamas, Shuranda lives in Edmonton Alberta, Canada with her husband Alexander and three of her four children Jayden, Sade, Josiah. Her fourth child “Angel Marie” is now enjoying her mansion in the heavens.
Having experienced extreme burnout firsthand, Shuranda is a strong advocate for self care. Being in the health and wellness industry, she makes it a habit to encourage her clients to take time out for themselves in order to be better for others. Shuranda also has a passion for women fulfilling their God given destiny, and being everything they are called to be.
The great desire to see women succeed combined with the passion for self care has birthed Women’s Intermission; an initiative to encourage women to separate periodically in efforts to be their best selves.
Shuranda is the author of “Weather Gear” a devotional for challenging seasons, and “Still Standing” where she shares some of her personal parenting challenges, and “Chosen Caretakers”, her newest book in which she shares Angel Marie’s story with the world. Shuranda is also the host of “Graced of the Journey Podcast”, a platform dedicated to walking alongside you during the toughest stages in life’s journey.
Kenchera Ingraham - COO
Dr. Kenchera Ingraham is a leader in AI, Health Education, Healthcare, and parenting solutions, dedicated to empowering women, parents, and families. As COO of Women's Intermission, she is privileged to work alongside the CEO to advance the vision of supporting women through rest, resetting, regrouping and recharging. She plays a key role in developing wellness initiatives, retreats, and program operations that help women navigate and thrive through life.
With a PhD in Education and a Master’s in Nursing Education, Dr. Ingraham is also the founder and CEO of Cooking Up Parenting Success (C.U.P.S.) The Parenting Solution Company provides system-driven parenting solutions. An author, speaker, and devoted Christian, she is passionate about building strong communities and helping women and families thrive.
Nonye Ilupeju - Wellness Support and Retreat Coordinator
Nonye is an intern therapist with a passion for providing counselling, advocacy, and support to those impacted by violence, trauma, and addiction. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and dual Masters degrees in Child Protection (Family Systems and Support) and Counseling Psychology.
Nonye brings a wealth of expertise and a trauma-informed care approach to her work. She is dedicated to helping clients navigate challenges and rebuild their lives through relationship-based services. Beyond her professional endeavours, Nonye is a mom of 2 and is very passionate about self-care.
