About Us

At Women's Intermission, we believe in the transformative power of taking a pause to rest, regroup, reset, recharge, and connect. Our mission is to provide a nurturing space where women can step away from the demands of everyday life and focus on their well-being, growth, and empowerment. Whether you're seeking relaxation, inspiration, or simply a moment of peace, Women's Intermission offers resources, support, and a vibrant community to help you thrive.

Our carefully crafted programs are designed not only to help you relax and recharge but also to connect you with like-minded women who understand the importance of self-care, connection, and growth. Through workshops, retreats, and gatherings, we create a supportive environment where women can share experiences, build meaningful relationships, and inspire one another. We believe that by resting together and growing together, we empower each other to live with greater balance, resilience, and purpose.

At Women's Intermission, you're not just taking time for yourself—you’re joining a community that values your well-being and celebrates your journey.

Retreats are held a few times a year at different destinations and are designed to cater to the physical, emotional, spiritual, mental, and social wellbeing of women. These are times for mingling with other women and times to rest and reflect. Join us for one or all of our fabulous events to rest, regroup, reset, and recharge!

Shuranda A. Hall - CEO

Born in Nassau, Bahamas, Shuranda lives in Edmonton Alberta, Canada with her husband Alexander and three of her four children Jayden, Sade, Josiah. Her fourth child “Angel Marie” is now enjoying her mansion in the heavens.

Having experienced extreme burnout firsthand, Shuranda is a strong advocate for self care. Being in the health and wellness industry, she makes it a habit to encourage her clients to take time out for themselves in order to be better for others. Shuranda also has a passion for women fulfilling their God given destiny, and being everything they are called to be.

The great desire to see women succeed combined with the passion for self care has birthed Women’s Intermission; an initiative to encourage women to separate periodically in efforts to be their best selves.

Shuranda is the author of “Weather Gear” a devotional for challenging seasons, and “Still Standing” where she shares some of her personal parenting challenges. She is also the author of Chosen Caretakers, her newest book in which she shares Angel Marie’s story with the world.
